A very warm wel­come to NOMAD Cider, one of our newest mem­bers and a great addi­tion to Bot­tle­neck Drive’s grow­ing num­ber of tra­di­tion­al cideries.

Pro­pri­etors and cider-mak­ers Mike Petkau and Brad Klam­mer say “We’re stoked to be part of the Bot­tle­neck Dri­ve team and are look­ing for­ward to open­ing the doors of our tast­ing room this spring!” 

NOMAD is cur­rent­ly pro­duc­ing dry apple and pear ciders that pay homage to var­i­ous world famous cider regions.

NOMAD’s prod­ucts are avail­able for sale at var­i­ous pri­vate liquor stores, restau­rants and pubs – see a full list on their web­site.

Their tast­ing room is expect­ed to open in late April or ear­ly May. Until then, tast­ings are avail­able by appoint­ment.

While the cidery’s name reflects their love of explo­ration and trav­el, Mike and Brad are proud mem­bers of the Sum­mer­land com­mu­ni­ty, call­ing it “the great­est place to live in Cana­da.”
